Mahamaya Temple, Maya Tungri
The Mahamaya Temple is a renowned historical and religious site in Ramgarh, situated atop the Tungri Hill at an elevation of approximately 1,100 feet. Goddess Mahamaya is worshipped at this temple; she is revered as an immensely powerful deity who fulfills all the wishes of her devotees.
The temple is estimated to be around 250–300 years old. A tradition of performing special rituals to invoke good rainfall has been observed here continuously for the past 250 years.
Well-laid-out steps lead to the temple complex, allowing devotees to easily reach the summit of the 1,100-foot-high hill.
The temple is located near NH-33 in Muramkala, Ramgarh district, making it easily accessible.
