Brief About the Department (Nature of Work)
The primary objective of the Dairy Development Department is to improve the economic condition of rural livestock farmers through the State Government’s initiatives, to promote self-employment among rural youth, make them self-reliant, and prevent migration. Under the Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation, various beneficiary-oriented schemes are being implemented by the Directorate of Dairy Development under the Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Vikas Yojana.
The objective of this scheme is to strengthen the economic condition of a large number of rural poor by providing them benefits every financial year.

| Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Vikas Yojana- 02 Cow/Buffalo Scheme | For all local rural women beneficiaries of Ramgarh district.
(For women from families affected by disaster/fire accidents, road accidents, abandoned women, and differently-abled women – 90% subsidy; and for all other women beneficiaries – 75% subsidy.) The age of the beneficiary should be between 18 to 55 years. The beneficiary should not have availed the benefit of this scheme earlier. |
