 Brief About the Department (Nature of Work)

The Animal Husbandry Department primarily works for the development of livestock, protection of animal health, and economic upliftment of livestock farmers. The department is engaged in animal treatment, vaccination, artificial insemination, disease control, promotion of milk production, livestock training, and implementation of various animal husbandry development schemes. In addition, the department provides technical support to farmers and contributes to rural employment generation through livestock-related activities.
