Chinnamastika Mandir

It is situated approximately 28 kilometers from Ramgarh, at the confluence of the Bhairavi and Damodar rivers, the renowned Rajrappa Temple, also known as the Chhinnamastika Temple, is one of the most revered Shakti Peeths in eastern India. The temple finds mention in ancient Vedas and Puranas and is regarded as a powerful center of divine energy and spiritual faith. It is widely believed that devotees who worship Maa Chhinnamastika with sincere devotion and a pure heart are blessed with the fulfillment of their wishes.Devotees from across the country visit this sacred site throughout the year. A particularly large congregation gathers during the nights of the Full Moon and New Moon. The art and architecture of the Rajrappa Temple bear a close resemblance to the famous Kamakhya Temple. Apart from the main shrine dedicated to Maa Chhinnamastika, the temple complex houses several other temples devoted to various Hindu deities, including Lord Shiva, the Sun God, and Goddess Kali. Adding to the scenic beauty of the site is a natural hot water spring, which attracts visitors especially during the winter season and serves as a popular picnic destination. The site is well connected to Ramgarh by road, making it easily accessible for visitors.
